Become a Foundational Stakeholder
Share Vision. Build Community. Grow with Us.
Neurodivergent Arts CIC is rooted in lived experience and grown from the ground up. As a small, neurodivergent-led organisation, we’re looking for founding stakeholders who want to walk alongside us as we build something meaningful, creative, and inclusive.
Founded by one, growing into many—Neurodivergent Arts CIC is becoming a vibrant, values-led team. We're actively building a collective of passionate individuals to shape the heart and future of this work.
What You Might Bring
✅ Admin & bookkeeping
✅ Website design & communications
✅ Fundraising & bid writing
✅ Facilitation & inclusive programming
✅ Community leadership
“You’re not just supporting what exists—you’re helping to create what comes next.”
Who We're Looking For
We are currently seeking 4–6 founding stakeholders to walk alongside Beth and help shape the roots of this work. As the organisation grows, there will be opportunities to expand the team and create a strong, supportive structure—including roles like secretary, lead and support facilitators, and a fundraiser.
We welcome:
Neurodivergent people who want to shape sustainable, inclusive, creative spaces and creative opportunities and employment for the Neurodivergent community.
Advocates, artists, carers, and allies with lived experience
People who have supported grassroots organisations
Those with experience in fundraising, access support, or inclusive leadership
You don’t need formal qualifications—just integrity, care, and a desire to help neurodivergent creativity flourish.
Representation Commitment
At least 75% of our stakeholders will be neurodivergent.
The remaining 25% of places are for trusted allies who align with our values and bring essential support.
What It Involves
Attend 4 meetings per year (online or in-person)
Share ideas and feedback on the CIC’s development
Champion our mission in your own way
Support could include helping with local connections, fundraising ideas, or occasional volunteering
Help us create opportunities for paid creative work and sustainable projects
Meet the Founding Director
Beth Macey-Macleod is a neurodivergent artist, facilitator, and founder of Neurodivergent Arts CIC. With over 18 years of experience in community arts and inclusive practice, Beth is passionate about creating safe, creative spaces where neurodivergent voices can be seen, heard, and celebrated. She brings vision, lived experience, and deep commitment to building this organisation with integrity, care, and community at its heart.
Future Leadership Opportunities
We’re planting roots for a thriving organisation.
A second Director will be recruited in time
Stakeholders may move into paid or leadership roles as we grow
Becoming a stakeholder first helps us build trust and shared vision
Skills We’re Looking For Right Now
⬜ Website design (Squarespace)
⬜ CIC bookkeeping and accounts
⬜ Writing funding bids / grant applications
⬜ Group facilitation / access support
These skills may strengthen the team as we grow, but they are not requirements. As a stakeholder, your main commitment is to attend four meetings per year and offer feedback, encouragement, and ideas. If you have the capacity to offer more—such as helping with funding applications or community outreach—it will be warmly welcomed but never expected.
Stakeholders help shape a future where neurodivergent creativity thrives. You’ll be part of building sustainable projects that can create paid opportunities for yourself and others down the line.
We offer flexible involvement and access to support based on your needs. Your insight, encouragement, and lived experience matter most.
What You'll Gain
Becoming a stakeholder isn’t just about giving—it's also about growing together. By supporting the development of Neurodivergent Arts CIC, you may gain:
🌱 A voice in shaping a neurodivergent-led organisation
🤝 New connections with like-minded creatives, facilitators, and advocates
🎨 Opportunities to contribute to creative projects and co-production
🚀 The chance to build experience in CIC development, funding, and leadership
💼 Pathways toward paid roles as the CIC grows and secures sustainable funding
You’ll be part of something rooted in care, led by lived experience, and designed to grow community opportunities—for yourself and others.
